Talon Works Manufacturing ("Talon Works", "we", "us", "our") is a fabrication and manufacturing business based in Magaliesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website at talonworks.co.za and any services you engage us to provide.
By using this website or placing an order with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
Talon Works provides precision fabrication and manufacturing services including, but not limited to:
All services are subject to a separate quotation and order confirmation. Work will only commence once a quote has been accepted and any required deposit received.
All quotations provided by Talon Works are valid for 14 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices quoted are exclusive of VAT unless expressly indicated. Acceptance of a quotation constitutes a binding order.
We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion, including where the required materials, tolerances, or specifications are not achievable with our current equipment or within a reasonable timeframe.
Payment terms will be specified on each quotation. Where a deposit is required, work will not begin until the deposit has cleared. Final payment is due before delivery or collection unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept electronic funds transfer (EFT) to our South African bank account. Details will be provided on invoice. Late payments may attract interest at the prevailing prime lending rate.
Lead times are estimates and not guarantees. Talon Works will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed turnaround times, but accepts no liability for delays caused by material shortages, equipment failure, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Risk of loss or damage passes to the client upon collection or handover to a courier. We recommend clients inspect goods at the point of collection. We are not responsible for damage that occurs during third-party courier transit.
Where a client supplies CAD files, designs, or materials for use in production, the client warrants that they have the right to use those files and materials, and that they do not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
Talon Works accepts no liability for errors in client-supplied files. If we identify an issue with a supplied file, we will notify the client before proceeding. Additional design or correction work will be quoted separately.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Talon Works retains intellectual property rights in any original designs, CAD models, or toolpaths created by us. The client receives a licence to use the finished physical product only.
Where a client commissions us to produce work based on their own original design, intellectual property in the underlying design remains with the client.
We warrant that all work will be carried out with reasonable skill and care and will materially conform to the agreed specification. If a finished item does not meet the agreed specification, please notify us within 7 days of delivery or collection.
We do not accept returns or offer refunds where the client has approved a design or proof and the finished item matches that approved design. Custom fabricated items cannot be returned unless they are defective.
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Talon Works' total liability to a client in respect of any claim arising out of or in connection with a service shall not exceed the value of the relevant order.
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses including loss of profit, loss of business, or reputational damage.
This website is provided for informational purposes. We make no warranties as to the accuracy or completeness of the content. We reserve the right to modify or remove content at any time without notice.
You may not use this website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
